Iowa City Area Apartment Rental Survey

In 1992, the Iowa City Area Apartment Rental Survey was started to provide valuable and usable information on the area's apartment rental market. This survey is voluntarily completed by apartment owners and managers of 12-unit or larger complexes in Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty. 

The data is compiled and summarized without any specific reference to individual complexes so as to protect participants' privacy and encourage the most accurate information possible. 

Surveyed information includes rental rates, vacancy rates, unit sizes, government assistance, and the payment of utilities. Please contact us if you're interested in participating in the next Apartment Rental or Multi-Housing survey.

Iowa City Area Commercial Market Study

May of 2010 marked the completion of our first Iowa City Area Commercial Study. The study came about due to a lack of available information on the status of the local office, retail, and industrial property markets in Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty. The survey was sent to over 500 property owners and managers in these three areas.

After collecting and analyzing the results of this survey, a summary was compiled and can be found at the link below. A more comprehensive report was also completed including information on property sales and leases from the local market.
